Clinical Training Coordinator

Role

In her role as Clinical Training Coordinator, Macey coordinates clinical trainings, events and spotlights, as well as, customized training/consulting contracts offered by SCRC and CSPAR. These include but are not limited to the annual DBT Comprehensive Training, Suicide Care in Health Systems trainings, the monthly CSPAR Research Spotlights, as well as numerous internal and external center-wide presentations.

Background
Macey graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Psychology with honors. She joined the SCRC and CSPAR teams in Fall 2024.
Prior to joining SCRC and CSPAR, Macey was a clinical research coordinator at the Center for the Study of Health and Risk Behaviors (CSHRB) and the ALACRITY Center. Her previous experience focused on intervention development for women experiencing PTSD from a recent sexual assault, EMA research on young adult alcohol use, and intervention redesign and implementation. In addition to suicide research, Macey has a passion for evidence-based treatments, specifically for PTSD and substance use disorder.
